Resilience

To belong to something, to belong to somewhere, to belong to someone

I was not coming Home, I was not arriving to peace.
I was watching an alien world as it ascended towards me – and one that I could never begin the process of readjusting to, because I knew that I would just as soon be returning to another world, whose normality was as uncomfortable to this type of a home as I now was finding myself into .

Even when I tried to run away, there was nowhere to go, nowhere to be rescued and no-one to even catch me when I fell.

So I stayed with all of the feelings pushing through my head in my dreams, just longing for peace, longing for peaceful silence.

To belong to something, to belong to somewhere, to belong to someone

Alone, all alone by myself
Nobody, but no-one
Can make it out here alone.
